Ordering decimals  smallest to largest:

smallest=0.22, 1.9, 2.68, 2.69, Largest=3.5

Ordering decimals Largest to smallest:

0.25 1.12 1.00 0.30 2.5

LARGEST=2.5, 1.12 , 1.00, 0.30,SMALLEST 0.25

Leadership Merit Evidence- Piano Lessons

Piano lessons with Hillary

On Tuesday the 17th of March I went to piano lessons without being reminded or prompted by Hillary. I think I did well because I turned up on time and was in the right place at the right time. I learnt a couple of new pieces and of course recapped what I did last week. I think that I am progressing on my piano/ music since the start of the year because I am learning more advanced things and working toward reading notes.

On the bus to technology/Lincoln on tuesday I think that I was showing the C.A.R.E values and following the rules/ expectations because I was: Speaking at a reasonable noise level to only the person next to me, I remained seated the whole time and reminded others that talked to me of the expectations. I also showed the C.A.R.E values at technology because I: Respected Lincoln's property, equipment and students/teachers. I was on time back to the classroom when the bell rang.

Writing Breakout

I decided that I needed to work on ideas in my writing and attended the breakout, here is a paragraph from my writing to prove I  have progressed in my ideas:

Daisy is gorgeous, her fur is velvety and soft  she is a small Jack-Russel terrier  and her fur smells of a sweet aroma reminding me of strawberries. I figured that Via hadn't come with us because she was busy looking after Daisy at home.(Dad had snuck out last night and went to the pet store.) How I love going to the doctors!  

After the breakout edited my writing (highlighted bits) and tried to add more detail E.G see(what you see) hear (what you hear) smell(what you smell) feel (E.G soft, rough, hard) and taste. 

2015 Goals

These are my goals that I set for myself at the end of last year.
I am doing well on these because:

• I have become a P.A.L and Peer Mediator
• I think I have progressed on my math and the breakouts may have helped me!
• I have almost got my Merit!

Peer Mediation!

On Wednesday the 18th of February I went on Peer mediation duty. It went quite well as there were no problems. I was quite pleased to see that nearly everybody was getting involved and doing something. A goal for me might be to keep up/ be aware/self aware of what's going on. As I got left behind once or twice.

My name is Mollyanne, I am ten years old in room 11 at  Oaklands School.

Oaklands School is a large school that educates year 0-8 students. There is about 580 students and 24 classrooms.

UNIFORM
Our uniform for the girls is a green polar fleece/jersey made of polyester witch made of recycled milk bottles. Our red shirts are also made of polyester. Both our red shirt and green polar fleece has Oaklands School printed on the left hand side. The girls also wear a pair of green cullots  though track-pants are optional in the winter.

However the boy's uniform is a red shirt, a jersey or polar fleece along with green shorts or track-pants.
The shoes everybody wears is limited to either plain black shoes or sneakers.

ENVIRONMENT
Oaklands School has three play-grounds. You can visit them in morning-tea or lunch.
There are three courts one basketball courts and two netball courts. Next to the basketball court there is a music room witch holds most of the school's musical equipment. This would be an ideal meeting place for   Kakano or Karui  assemblies if the school hall was taken but too small for whole school assemblies.

I believe in 50 years time when I am 60 years old classrooms will be much more advanced eg; electronic touch screen white-boards,  robotic teachers, lots of technology and much more!
