Describe features of 2-D & 3-D objects in geometric language

Maths Prove It
WALT: Describe features of 2-D & 3-D objects in geometric language

I think that I am at Extended Abstract   for this goal because I can apply the math skill, I am strategic about it when I use it but if I was learning about it for longer I might've learnt more strategies. I can also make a video to show other people how.

My next step would  be to choose a new maths goal!!!

Leadership Merit Evidence- Piano Lessons!

Piano Lessons With Hillary

On Tuesday the 28th July/ yesterday I went to piano with my book. Firstly we recapped some pieces  did last week then learnt something new. What I learnt was low G Bass G and Treble G with the left hand. At first I didn't really understand what to do with one of the activities so I used some learner dispositions and questioned, was curious and was resilient also

Writing Evidence- Ideas

Part of my story:

W.A.L.T: Include ideas in my writing
I heard a wailing siren sound in the distance. Wait a second, what was that strange man doing lying in the middle of the pavement?! As I am quite a curious fly I wandered over to the crime scene, he was still not even twitching. I decided to tickle him, after all who isn't ticklish? Wow, he's good! I thought. He didn't even flinch! Just after I tasered him a few times and was convinced this was just a person that was very tired and decided to have a nap a flashing police car came to an abrupt halt several meters away from me. That's when I noticed the astonished mob of people surrounding me and I realized it mightn't of  looked like I was trying to help him. I felt a bead of sweat trickle down my forehead  and saw one of the stern police man shook their head disapprovingly and cuffed my abnormally long legs behind my back...
The highlighted bits are where I included scenes eg sound, sight and touch. Since I included several of these throughout my story and not the same ones I think that my solo level would be 'multistuctural'. My next step would probably be to include that amount in each paragraph because I didn't include that many in every paragraph.

Division Algorithms- Maths Prove It

Division Algorithms

W.A.L.T: Use multiplicative strategies
I am probably at 'relational' because I was getting better at it but if I practised for a little longer I would be even better. The next step that I need to work on is to be resilient when I get to the difficult questions because I felt like giving up and got a bit distracted.
342 divided by 62 = First I would do how many times 62 goes into 34, but since 62 is bigger than 34 I do 62 into 342. So the answer is...    5 r 32!!! My solo level would probably be extended abstract because I could do them but sometimes needed assistance with the harder questions. My next step would probably be to practice more so I would get even better and not forget how to.

2015 Goals

2015 Goals

W.A.L.Ts:
.Become a Peer Mediator and/ or P.A.L. I am going well because I am both and remember to turn up. My next step is probably to remind others in my group.
.Get better at my maths. I think I am getting a bit better at math, the maths breakouts helped. My next step would be to practice a bit more so I can improve on my goal.
.Get my Merit Excellence or Distinction. I haven't got my Merit yet but just need to do a few more blog posts. My next step would be to start blogging at the start of the year!

Leadership- Merit Evidence Peer Mediation!

Peer Mediation

On Friday the 26th of June I did Peer Mediation. I had quite a good lunch-time because we had no problems although we had to find a duty teacher since the door was locked and I couldn't get the equipment. Next time I think I should remind the other people in my group because one of them forgot to turn up.
