Leadership In The Food Forest- Merit Evidence Getting Involved

IN THE FOOD FOREST, HELPING OUT AND GETTING INVOLVED.

Both today and yesterday the year 8's were working with the junior students in their classrooms and in the food forest.

Today my group started off in the garden and did some weeding and harvested corn. We had to be very careful because of the Nightshade berries. These berries were intertwined with the weeds and would be deadly if you ate them or if they got in contact with open wounds.

It was hard work and everybody showed resilience because we didn't give up!

I kept a baby corn as a pet and it is very adorable.
